Karen LaMendola

Karen LaMendola lives on the Southwest Coast of Florida with her husband, Michael and their sons, Wesley. She has lived in Florida for almost 14 years. She has a Master’s Degree in Business Management from Bowie State University in Maryland. When not at the taekwondo school working on her black belt or working at her “real” job, she sews. Her Grandmother taught her to sew and do needlework at a very young age.

Karen started selling sewing machines in the late 1980’s as something extra and fun to do. From there she started teaching quilting classes on the serger. Now her passion for sewing is on the embroidery machine and with Designer’s Gallery Software and Dime Inspirations Software. Most weekends she can be found sewing, or teaching digitizing classes. She is also an NRA instructor.
